The Wheelbench Kröller-Müller Edition is a contemporary reinterpretation of the iconic oak Wheelbench. Designed by Rogier Martens in collaboration with the Kröller-Müller Museum, this special aluminum edition brings art and nature together, inviting interaction with the outdoors.

The surprising combination of a bench and a wheelbarrow wheel emphasizes a sense of freedom in the open air. Simply roll the Wheelbench to a sunny spot, a shady corner, a scenic view, or a sheltered nook.

Shared seating: comfortably seats two to three people.

Weather-resistant and durable: thanks to its aluminium construction, the Wheelbench is extremely strong and can remain outside all year round.

Unique design object: with the included stickers of 10 famous works from the sculpture garden of the Kröller-Müller Museum, each bench gets its own identity and story. The stickers can also be used separately from the bench.

Finished in Ochre Yellow (RAL 1024).

1. Can my product rust if it gets scratched?

No, it won’t rust. Weltevree aluminum products are made from high-quality, powder-coated aluminum that does not corrode, even when the surface is scratched. Small scratches can be touched up with matching paint if desired, but they won’t affect the durability of your product.

2. How should I clean my aluminum product?

You can easily clean it with a soft cloth, mild soap, and warm water. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or brushes, as these can damage the powder coating. For stubborn stains, a gentle all-purpose cleaner will do the trick.

3. What should I do if the tire on my product gets soft? (For products like the Wheelbench)

You can inflate the tire with a standard bicycle pump. Check the valve type before inflating and ensure you don’t exceed the recommended pressure indicated on the tire.

4. Can I leave my aluminum product outside all year round?

Yes! The aluminum is weather-resistant and won’t rust or warp. It’s built to handle all seasons. Still, we recommend keeping it clean and storing it in a sheltered area during extreme weather to extend its lifespan.

The Wheelbench is an easily movable two- to three-person wheelbarrow bench. The surprising combination between a bench and wheelbarrow wheel enhances the active outdoor feeling. You can also easily move the bench alone, by driving the bench like a wheelbarrow. With the Wheelbench you can easily find a spot in the sun or shade. Place the bench wherever you want, put a sheepscoat on it and enjoy the peace and quiet outside. The Wheelbench comes untreated. That gives you the choice to treat the wood yourself with oil or impregnate it to preserve its color. If you don't treat the wood, it will slowly develop a gray patina.
