SALUT BEERBENCH
Sturdy beerbench made of European Douglas-fir wood and powder-coated steel
To be seen at the Parade until 1 September: discover the Salut Beerbench around the Parade's float. Designer Jaïr Straschnow's experience designing smart solutions for public spaces makes the Parade especially fitting to premiere the Salut Beerbench.
Designed from the need for a beer bench that stands firmly and does not tip over when standing up or sitting down, product designer Jaïr Straschnow conceived the Salut Beerbench. By giving the seat of the bench a 7-degree angle, the legs are slightly angled. It is precisely these angled legs that create a beer bench that stands ultra sturdy. Compared to the traditional beer bench with straight legs, the Salut Beerbench is a beer bench without the risk of tipping over.
With the collapsible bench, there is room for everyone you want to join you. The bench folds out in seconds, but it can also be left outside all year long without any problems. The Salut Beerbench is made of European Douglas fir - wood that is truly made for outdoor use and to withstand all weather conditions. Straschnow's signature curved powder-coated steel plates make the beer bench a robust yet sophisticated piece.
The folding system makes the Salut Beerbench compact to transport and store. Whether for an event or an intimate garden party, the Salut Beerbench is guaranteed to make for a solid party.

The standard beer bench is top-heavy and narrow with straight legs, so it wobbles when you sit on it and quickly falls over when standing up. This minor annoyance was the driving force behind Straschnow's design for the Salut Beerbench. "Every time I walked past such a wobbly beer bench, I felt the need to make something better out of it," he says.
