Weltevree opens pop-up store in Utrecht
Although at Weltevree they have a penchant for beautiful things made well, the label strongly believes that life is about what you experience, not what you own. 'Our products come to life when they are used. People should be able to see and feel our products. The new pop-up store is pre-eminently the place not only to see our products, but also to experience them,' said Derk Jan Hoeksema, marketing & sales director of Weltevree. The pop-up store in Utrecht is, next to the Brandstore in Amersfoort, Weltevree's second own store where this is possible.
The opportunity to open a second store arose in collaboration with Dutch men's clothing brand Butcher of Blue. The two brands, which both share the same values of quality, outdoor living and friendship, have worked together before and are now joining forces once again to appeal strongly to the same target group with each their own unique collection.
Through familiar Weltevree icons, such as the Dutchtub, the Guidelight and the Outdooroven, visitors can discover the world of Weltevree. Also on display are the latest products from the collection, such as the Sticklight, the Woodlounger and the Sofabed. Each of these products adds something creative and unexpected in its own way to any outdoor space and changes the way we experience our immediate environment.
The store stocks a select selection of small products, such as the Sticklight and the Guidelight. In addition, the entire collection can be ordered in-store and orders are delivered free of charge within one working week.

The sloping angle of the mattress creates a relaxing seating position. Because the frame has an equal sloping angle, the mattress becomes flat when you rotate it 180 degrees. With just one quick turn, you’ll have a comfortable spot for an afternoon nap in the open air. The two-in-one sofabed is perfect for smaller spaces like a balcony or an urban garden. Both the mattress as well as the pillows are made from a durable waterproof material called Olefin and have a ventilating underside. The fabric is nearly impenetrable by water, making it well suited for outdoor use. Even a rain soaked mattress will dry quickly due to this ventilation system.
