Not only a party to look at, but also a party to eat. Make this amazing chocolate cake using the Outdooroven! A spectacular cake to celebrate specifics.
Ingredients:
- 200 g milk chocolate
- 400 g dark chocolate
- 50 g white chocolate
- 50 g powdered sugar
- 250 ml whipped cream
- 200 g granulated sugar
- 4 eggs pinch of salt
- 1 sachet baking powder
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 200 g flour
- 200 g crème fraîche
- 200 g unsalted butter
Supplies:
- Cake pan
- Baking paper
- Whisk
Step 1: Heat up the Outdooroven. Fill the Oven Dish with hot water. Break the milk chocolate into pieces and place in a bowl with butter and crème fraîche. Put the Oven Dish on the Outdooroven and place the bowl over the water and let melt (Au bain marie). Once melted, let cool and stir with the whisk.
Step 2: Line a cake pan with baking paper and grease the edges well. Add cocoa powder, baking powder, flour and a pinch of salt to a bowl and mix.

Step 3: Use a whisk and a separate bowl to beat the eggs and sugar until smooth. Add the chocolate mixture from step 1 to this and mix with a whisk. Then add the flour mixture as well.
Step 4: Pour the smooth cake batter into the cake pan. Let the cake bake in the Outdooroven. Use a skewer to check if the cake is good by poking it in the center. When the skewer comes out dry, the cake is ready. How long it takes depends on the temperature of the Outdooroven. Check carefully in between. After baking let it cool for a while.

Step 5: While the cake is cooking in the oven, make the ganache. Break the dark chocolate into pieces and put it in a bowl with the whipped cream. Let this melt on the Outdooroven in the same way as in step 1. Stir gently with a whisk and allow to cool when completely melted. Whisk in the powdered sugar.
Step 6: Chop the white chocolate small. Cut the cake in half horizontally and spread the bottom half with a third of the ganache. Place the other half back on top and generously spread the top with the remaining ganache. Sprinkle the white chocolate shavings on top. Serve the festive set to your guests.
PS: Also very tasty with fresh strawberries.
