Step 2: Peel the apples, cut them into quarters and remove the core. Place the remaining butter and sugar in a pan and warm together on low heat. Turn off the heat when the mixture turns light brown. In the meantime, divide the pieces of apple over the tart mold with the rounded side down. Then pour the caramel mixture over the apples in the mold. Be careful of the hot caramel!
Step 3: Take the dough out of the fridge. Cover your workspace with some flour so you can roll out the dough easily. Roll out into a round shape that is a little wider than your tart mold. After you rolled it out, place it over the apples in the mold. Fold the sides around the apples and press down gently.
