Ingredients (4 pieces)

  • 100 grams of green asparagus tips

  • 2 pieces salmon fillet

  • 125 grams of crème fraiche

  • 6 tablespoons grated cheese

  • 4 tablespoons chopped chives

  • 100 ml white wine

  • 1 orange

  1. Preheat the Outdooroven to 200 degrees

  2. Boil water on the Outdooroven and cook the asparagus tips for about 2 to 3 minutes. Then rinse the asparagus tips with cold water and drain well.

  3. Cut the salmon pieces in half so that you have four thin pieces of salmon. Garnish the salmon with some salt and pepper, if desired.

  4. Mix half of the crème fraîche with the grated cheese and half of the chopped chives. Spread this mixture over the salmon.

  5. Spread the asparagus tips over the salmon and roll the salmon pieces around the asparagus.

  6. Place the salmon rolls in a greased Ovendish and bake for about 10 to 12 minutes until done.

  7. Take the salmon out of the oven and pour the released liquid into a small saucepan. Add the rest of the crème fraîche, the white wine and some orange zest. Place the small pan on top of the Outdooroven and bring to a boil while stirring.

  8. Remove the saucepan from the Outdooroven and stir the remaining chives into the sauce.

  9. Serve the salmon rolls on a nice plate along with the sauce and garnish with some orange segments, if desired. Enjoy!

The Weltevree Oven Dish is more than a dish: it’s three dishes in one. It consists of two parts: a shallow dish and a deep dish and together they function as a casserole dish. The oven dish is completely made of enameled cast iron with a robust, matte look. This material retains heat and is naturally non-stick. It’s suitable for a variety of cooking tasks, but is especially great for slow cooking.

The Magnetic Thermometer is used to heat your Outdoor oven to the correct temperature. Because the back is magnetic, the thermometer is easy to place on the oven. For the most accurate reading, it is important to place the thermometer on the inside of the top compartment.

These Weltevree Tea Towels can also serve as a game board for Ludo or checkers. Create your own tokens and challenge your opponent(s) to a game. Any snack bowls, wine glasses or other dishes can wait until after the game, because whoever loses has to do the dishes and dry them off. Rather use a clean towel? They come in a set of two, so you’ll always have a clean tea towel at hand. Our Tea Towels are produced in Portugal and made from 100% organic cotton.
Protective and sturdy: the leather Weltevree Gloves protect your hands from the heat and sparks of the oven while you chop wood, throw the blocks on the fire or do chores around the house or garden. The Gloves also keep your hands warm in the winter. NOTE: These gloves are not fully heat resistant and cannot be used as oven mitts, they are only to assist in stoking a wood fire on the outdoor oven or nap tub.
