Outdooroven recipe: King’s day bites
King’s day is the day the Netherlands turns orange and everyone celebrates. On such a day, orange bites with drinks can not be missed. Light the Outdooroven, invite all your friends and enjoy this day together.
Sweet potato crostinis
Ingredients (without toppings):
2 medium sweet potatoes
Oil
Salt & pepper
Toppings:
Cream cheese, salmon, dill
Goat cheese, walnuts, honey
method:
Preheat the Outdooroven.
Wash the sweet potatoes and cut them into slices, about 3 mm thick.
Spread a thin layer of oil on the slices and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Place the slices in a baking tray and bake the sweet potato until tender.
Garnish the sweet potato with the toppings.
Stuffed bell peppers
10 pieces
Ingredients:
10 mini bell peppers
10 slices of bacon
200g cream cheese
2 tablespoon pine nuts
Method:
Soke some toothpicks in water for at least 30 minutes. Meanwhile, preheat the Outdooroven.
Cut the bell peppers in half and remove the seeds.
Toast the pine nuts in a dry pan until golden brown.
Mix the cream cheese with the pine nuts.
Fill both halves with the mix of cream cheese and pine nuts and place them back together. Wrap around a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick.
Place the bell peppers on the grill plate and grill them until the bacon is crispy. Don’t forget to flip them regularly.
