The glass shades are mouth-blown with great care by experienced glass-blowers. This makes every single shade slightly different from one another, which adds to the unique look of the Stringlight. After every shade is shaped, the glass is cut manually to create the opening and any sharp edges are smoothed.
COLORED AND COATED
The inside of the colorful shades are spray painted by hand. A tempered coating is added to make the shades more weatherproof. When taking a very close look, small differences may be visible as a result of the manual painting process. But once the Stringlight is hung from a ceiling these differences will be hardly noticeable.
CONNECT TO A POWER OUTLET
The Stringlight consists of a cable with 8 sockets. On one side the cable ends in a (European) power plug. It’s easily connected to a power outlet and will turn on immediately. The other side of the cable ends in a metal hook to connect it to a branch, pole or other object.
