From the 9th until the 14th of April, we presented surprising new products and collaborations during Salone del Mobile 2019 in Milan. This included a lounge island, bistro set, shelving system and a glass bowl for investigating ecosystems in your own backyard. At our exhibition at Ventura Centrale, inside the vaults underneath Milan Central Station, visitors could experience the new products in an exciting setting, with a contemporary view on the classic pool party. With this expansion of the collection, which is the result of collaborations with designers Joep Van Lieshout, Tom Fereday and Lex Pott, we have started on a new chapter.
Thanks to its circular design, the Flying Dishman is never directed towards a particular view. When laying on it, you enjoy a 360 degrees view without having to lift or move the round daybed to change positions.
With some added pillows and blankets, the Flying Dishman is the ideal place for relaxing. Take a break by yourself or invite others. There is space enough for two to three people laying down.
The Flying Dishman consists of a mix of HDPE: partly recycled waste containers and partly new material, mixed together to a dark mixed green color. The material is strong, easy to clean and requires next to no maintenance.
The Flying Dishman can be ordered with an optional pillow set. This set of three cushions is made from the durable Kvadrat Patio fabric, a strong material that’s suitable for outdoor use. Do make sure to not leave the pillows outside permanently.
