When Erik Stehmann designed the Beach Rocker he didn’t want to settle for designs as we know them. Erik: “It connects the best of both worlds: the good qualities of a beach chair with the fun characteristics of a rocking chair.” The Beach Rocker is a playful, comfortable chair which is easy to move and store. THE BEACH ROCKER

The Weltevree Beach Chair is a modern interpretation of the beach chair as we know it. Designer Erik Stehmann kept the good qualities of the original design: “The classic beach folding chair is a great concept: it needs little material, is mobile, foldable and of course comfortable.” Erik worked together with design studio RAW COLOR to create the fabric for the chair. “The fabric adds a fresh appearance. The colors are inspired on the horizon: the sunset and the sundown. This makes the chair an even better place to take a seat in while enjoying those moments.”

FABRIC AND COLORS BY RAW COLOR

The fabric is made from 100% cotton and is designed by studio RAW COLOR. The colors are inspired by the horizon: the sunset and sundown. The cotton fabric has a dirt-repelling coating, making it more resistant to rain and dirt.

NESTING CHAIR

Foldable into a compact, flat shape. The chair is a nesting chair and is stowed away easily: a stack of 20 chairs needs no more space than 1 meter in height.

STRONG WOODEN STRUCTURE

The chair is made from strong, varnished beach wood.
